pastry for one-crust 9 inch pie
1 3 1/2 ounce can (2 cups) French Fried Onions
4 eggs
2 cups milk
1 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp salt
dash cayenne

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare pastry for 9 inch pie. Line pie plate and flute edges. Bake in 450 degree oven for 7 to 8 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 325. While pastry is still warm fill with French Fried Onions. Beat eggs slightly, blend in milk, cheese, salt and cayenne. Pour over onions in pastry shell. Bake in 325 degree oven for 55 minutes. Let stand at room temperature about 10 minutes before serving.
