1 bag Frozen Hashbrowns
28 oz Chicken Broth or Stock
1 medium Onion, diced
Salt & Pepoer to taste
8 oz shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 pint Whipping Cream
1 cup Sour Cream
4 cups Milk
1 lb cooked mild Italian Sausage
5 oz fresh Kale
If thickening is needed: 1 stick butter, melted and 1/2 cup flour.

In a large soup pot, Combine the hashbrowns, chicken broth, onion and salt and pepper. Let heat for a while. Then add whipping cream, sour cream and milk. Let simmer for a bit. Add Italian sausage and kale. Let kale wilt and then add the cheddar cheese. If thickening is needed, combine the melted butter and flour and add to pot.
Optional toppings: shredded cheddar cheese, bacon, scallions. Enjoy!
